Be an Egg Donor

Introduction to Egg Donation

Welcome to our egg donation program. Egg donation is a generous act that helps individuals and couples struggling with infertility achieve their dream of starting a family. By donating your eggs, you can make a significant impact on someone’s life and experience the joy of giving. Egg donation involves a simple yet profound act of kindness, providing hope and joy to families who otherwise might not be able to conceive. Whether you are motivated by altruism, the desire to help others, or the financial benefits, your contribution is invaluable.

What is egg donation?

Egg donation is a process where a woman (the egg donor) provides one or several eggs (also known as oocytes) for purposes of assisted reproduction, with the eggs being fertilized in the laboratory. Once fertilized, the resulting embryos are transferred to the recipient’s uterus to initiate a pregnancy, or they can be cryopreserved (frozen) for future use.

How much do egg donors get paid?

We are one of the highest-paying egg donor agencies. Our egg donor program payment of $6,000 to $15,000 is among the highest industry wide.

Factors that affect pay include:

Location: Compensation in the USA is in US dollars, in Canada in Canadian Dollars.

Education levels: For example, high School compensation is lower than for PhDs who are compensated higher.

Appearance: Send us a picture preferably taken professionally, and smiling to make you look your best.

Ethnic background: Compensation is higher for donors in short supply like Asians and Indians.

Number of previous donations:

Higher for experienced donors, when you have your initial consultation with us, we will go over your individual situation, and what you can expect your egg donation compensation to be.  We look forward to hearing from you.

How do you become an egg donor?

The egg donation process involves a screening process for the egg donor, hormonal stimulation of the donor’s ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs, monitoring of the donor’s response to hormones through ultrasound and blood tests, and finally, retrieval of the eggs through a medical procedure known as transvaginal ultrasound aspiration. After egg retrieval, the donor’s role in the process is completed.

Benefits and Compensation

Egg donation is a rewarding experience, both emotionally and financially. Donors receive generous compensation for their time and effort. Additionally, you’ll gain a sense of fulfillment knowing you’ve helped create a family. Compensation varies by clinic but typically ranges from $6,000 to $15,000 per cycle. Beyond the financial aspect, donors often report a deep sense of satisfaction and personal growth from their involvement. You’ll also receive comprehensive health screenings and genetic information, providing valuable insights into your own health.

Description of the Donation Process

Begin with an initial consultation where we discuss your medical history, family-building goals, and preferences for a surrogate. Our experienced team will guide you through the process, answer your questions, and help you understand what to expect. This meeting includes a review of your fertility history, an overview of the surrogacy process, and a discussion of any concerns or specific needs you may have.

Complete our online application to provide your basic information and medical history. This step helps us understand your eligibility and suitability as a donor.

Undergo a thorough screening process, including medical evaluations, psychological assessments, and genetic testing to ensure you are a suitable donor. This includes blood tests, ultrasound exams,  and a comprehensive review of your family medical history.

Once approved, you’ll be matched with a recipient. The matching process considers various factors such as physical characteristics, medical compatibility, and personal preferences to ensure the best possible match.

You’ll take hormone injections for 10-14 days to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. These medications are carefully monitored to ensure your safety and the optimal growth of your eggs.

During stimulation, you’ll have regular medical appointments for blood tests and ultrasounds to monitor your progress. These visits ensure the medication is working effectively and help us adjust dosages if necessary. transfer

Egg retrieval is a minor surgical procedure performed under sedation. It takes about 20-30 minutes, and you’ll be able to go home the same day. A specialized needle is used to collect the eggs from your ovaries, and you’ll be closely monitored throughout the procedure.

After the retrieval, you’ll have a brief recovery period. Most donors resume normal activities within a few days. Follow-up appointments will ensure you are healing well and address any concerns you might have.
